Yeah to all the in coming students for spring 2020 and fall thereafter , i have a small word of advice ,dont come in the notion that master’s would be easy this that .Its gonna get really tough if you dont chnage that attiditude or that indian learning mindset here . I am a fall 19 student at University of florida and I found my rythm in scoring and gettting through the subjects just like a month ago. So its a advice that get ready to work harder than your bachelors and undergrad. Pros : You can see yourself develop withing 2 years and learn to multi task soon. Cons: Home sickness initially ,missing family old friedns etc . mood swings and all . But you will get through some how. All the best to all students. Nice video sajag .

I can related to you…I am doing Masters Computer Science in University of Manitoba and i feel like ever since i came here last fall I have forgot to live…sad lonely bone- chilling winters, no festivals, wandering alone, sleepless and studying all the time, not got time to visit any place in this new country, no time to cook, anxiety and stress through the roof and also at the same time doing parttime
Job to pay rent…before doing masters i did btech jn 2014 and for five years worked in IT where i only did web and mobile programming projects in the company… so i had a hard time understanding the algorithms and algebra since i lost touch after btech and algebra algorithms are not much used in IT where we just do programming as per client project requirements like website or app development …assignments so tough that i feel like i dont have brain cells left anymore…i just came here to canada to get into IT but in order to do that i am doing masters which i never thought would be this tough when i started it..now i am in middle of mud and have to complete it…i am graduating soon in april and hope to go back to IT to do the thing i like i.e programming. Obviously i felt like i have been thown under the bus with all the tough assignments and exam that caused me the worst stress of my life..i never had to struggle with anything in Computer science until now . Good thing is the fees is less and i got merit scholarship during admission which halved my entire fees…But the sweat and tears of struggle are worth it , the degree is of great value and would help me find the job easily…I guess programming is my only cup of tea which is why i am going back to my software developer job after graduation. I dare not to do research or Phd thing in comp science. That is impossible for me. But like every comp science international student story is so similar
